  • Uber is celebrating Earth Day with designated Green rides, taking passengers in Los Angeles, Washington D.C., or Miami on a virtual "impromptu adventure" to some of the world's most amazing sites while riding in a bright green Tesla with different experiences like sitting underneath the Northern Lights or surrounded by Antarctica's icebergs. 

  • Illinois launched a $30 million tourism campaign embracing its nickname as “The Middle of Everything” and starring actress Jane Lynch, a famous Illinois native with ads highlighting notable attractions such as Chicago’s Navy Pier and the Shawnee National Forest. 

  • McDonald’s launched McDelivery Detectors in the Netherlands for customers to win a 3D printed smoke alarm that places an order to the closest McDonald’s restaurant whenever it senses that the owner’s food has burned.

  • Clothing brand Revolve’s annual invitation-only Coachella event received backlash this week on social media as some influencer attendees were asked to pay $2,000 for a ticket and were left stranded in a parking lot for hours in the desert sun waiting for shuttles.
