  • “Beige influencers,” a newly coined term, refers to the influencers online who promote regimented routines and arrays of beige as a way to “romanticize” your life. To some, these influencers reflect the desire in young people for the simple things in life. To others, it’s another version of watered-down reality to fit a popular aesthetic.

  • Members of Gen Z are creating new beauty categories and aesthetics, such as “cold girl,” “crying girl,” “mermaid core,” and more. Gen Z’s interest in the beauty industry and their desire to treat themselves gives the generation incredible purchasing power for beauty brands.

  • The weekend of July 4th, airlines hit a record of the most travelers screened nationwide since Thanksgiving of 2019. However, United Airlines was impacted by delays, causing their departures to be reduced by 60-75% and in turn, making the flight delays and cancellations a new world record.
